Keasha Lee Ince is a 2016 graduate of EWI’s Grow My Business (GMB) course and is the Founder + Creative Director of Striking Statements, LLC.
Striking Statements is a creative content marketing company that helps bold individuals and organizations doing great work in the world accurately convey their mission. This is accomplished by reflecting her clients’ genius and heart through messaging that makes a connection.
Keasha had been involved with EWI for several years – she submitted a written piece that was selected to be presented at EWI’s ‘We the People Project’ exhibit and later volunteered as a guest speaker/mentor on Social Media Marketing in 2012 for an Entrepreneur Training for Success class.
After slowly growing Striking Statements for years on a part-time basis, Keasha realized how necessary it was for her to quit working full-time so that she could focus on building her business. “When I reluctantly accepted another full-time corporate position at the beginning of the year, I wanted a program that would keep me connected to Striking Statements,” she said. “I was so scared of letting it [the business] go but wasn’t sure how I was going to transition from full-time work and EWI provided the community and accountability that I desired.”
The GMB class provided the strategy and planning that Keasha needed to map out the exact amount of client work hours and hourly rates she would need per month to sustain herself. “The financial courses helped to simplify the process of knowing what I needed in order to move out of full-time work and into full-time passion,” she said.
In just a few short months following completion of the GMB program, and with the support of her husband, Keasha was able to leave her full-time sales position to immerse herself into Striking Statement, helping others make a bigger impact through content that clearly and authentically shares their story.” I have been busy the past couple of months with client work and am excited for so many more opportunities in 2017,” Keasha beamed. “EWI is one of my happy clients and I am very grateful.”
If there’s any advice she would give to anyone considering enrolling with EWI she says, “There are lots of people in the world that need what you have to offer. Give yourself and them a chance by learning with EWI. The world needs your statement.”
