Mariam Mohamed of Bahari Creations

Originally from Tanzania, Mariam immigrated to the U.S. in the early 2000s with a dream to own her own business. Experienced in working with textiles and sewing, Mariam creates unique accessories including handbags, wristlets wallets and more  from Kanga cloth, a traditional fabric found along the East Africa coast. Meet LaDon, she fell in love with photography the moment her aunt handed her a camera. LaDon strives to  discover and capture the genuine and spontaneous side of her models and clients. From  professional head shots to open photo booths, LaDon says she helps clients “see themselves for the first time, again.” Come have some fun with Lens and Love at the photo booth at the marketplace this year!  Together, Larnies and Sadé, seek to bring vegan smoothies, and healthy foods to consumers eager for healthier and humane alternatives. Livity Drink Co bring consumers more sustainable ways to live and eat that promote physical and mental health.  Come taste their delectable and nutritious treats at this years marketplace, they plan to sell d’vine chocolate mousse, spiced almond walnut butter  and  sweet potato pie! Inspired by her spiritual and emotional connection to faith, Nadia’s passion is to beautify the world with her hands. With Bachelors in Fine Arts and a Master of Architecture Degree, Nadia decided to start her own business, Nadia J Art, in which she creates art in fulfill her passion.
