You can support promising entrepreneurs in EWI’s year-long Entrepreneur Incubator and three-month classes with business skills training, one-on-one mentoring, business coaching, financial education and personal and professional support network. This unique program offers women opportunities for economic development, social inclusion, financial independence and self-realization. EWI’s strategy is to empower the whole woman, teaching her the skills she needs to launch and manage a sustainable business and to use positive mentoring and peer-to-peer relationships to build confidence and facilitate involvement in her community.
Entrepreneurs start with a three-month entrepreneurship training and business plan development program. Students meet twice a week to learn the fundamentals of creating and managing a microenterprise. Participants are paired with business-savvy women mentors to provide guidance, business advice and networking opportunities. Students pitch their businesses at the end of the program to for business feedback, cash prizes and capital.
