Multicultural Arts

Neelam Patel in her one-woman show, "Sari to Skin"

Throughout the year, we organize several presentations of culturally diverse art programs to display and share our member artists’ work and build multicultural understanding and art appreciation. These presentations include exhibitions, performances, visual art shows, local artists markets, workshops, museum collaboration programs, and art teaching programs.

How Members Benefit

All of our multicultural arts programming provides our beneficiaries with market access, visibility, and a variety of opportunities to integrate, participate, and establish community connections. These events give them a chance to be recognized for their talents and contributions to their communities, as well as provide them with direct income from the sale of their work and services.

How the Community Benefits

For the public, one of the major benefits is increased awareness and appreciation for the unique contributions immigrant and refugee women make to life in the United States. This newfound understanding leads to a more tolerant and inclusive community.
