Describe your relationship with EWI, What challenges have you faced?
I came to EWI hoping to learn more about business finances, taxes and marketing. Marketing was a bit of a challenge as it takes a lot of time to invest in. I was relying more on word of mouth, but failing to understand that an advertising strategy needs to be put in place in order to run a successful business.
How has EWI impacted your life and business?
Empowered Women International offered solutions to our questions and shared resources available to us in order for our business to move towards prosperity. They helped me to look at pricing from a different angle. It was hard for me to find my way in the dark. It was very helpful for Sharmila, our training coach to show us how to price items, merchandises or services per unit.
Is there anything else that you would like to add or share about your business or experience with EWI?
I attended the 2 days Entrepreneur Bootcamp and it was short of amazing. I loved the workshop and would love to see more of those in the future. I did not feel bored at all. I like the fact that the training was hands on and I took away strategies and tips that I can apply to my business. Thank you Empowered Women International, for all that you do.
The EWI Business Bootcamp was generously supported by the Rotary Club of Alexandria.
