Originally from Tanzania, Mariam immigrated to the U.S. in the early 2000s with a dream to own her own business. Experienced in working with textiles and sewing, Mariam creates unique accessories including handbags, wristlets wallets and more from Kanga cloth, a traditional fabric found along the East Africa coast. Meet LaDon, she fell in love with photography the moment her aunt handed her a camera. LaDon strives to discover and capture the genuine and spontaneous side of her models and clients.
