Aburi Botanicals is an all natural, vegan skincare company formed in 2012. Aburi Botanicals is inspired by the beautiful botanical garden located in Aburi, Ghana. Her products include soaps, scrubs, butters oils and salts. These high quality products are perfect for a luxurious and relaxing bathing experience. Sushmita Mazumdar of Studio Pause
Sushmita is an artist, writer and educator. She began writing stories for her son about her childhood in India and this evolved into a business, creating books and bringing stories to life using vivid colors, captivating design, and a variety of unique materials. Sushmita believes in making time for creativity and community which is the mission of her art studio Studio Pause. Sushmita will be selling handmade books, cards and her artwork at the marketplace. Elizabeth Coker of Ma Lizzie’s Cakes & Catering
Meet Ma Lizzie, the owner and creator of Ma Lizzie’s Cakes & Catering. Lizzie discovered her passion of cake baking while working at a chain grocery store and decided to start her own baking business! Ma Lizzie’s Cakes & Catering offers an assortment of nutritious and tasty baked goods specializing in gluten free, sugar-free, dairy-free and even egg-free cakes and pastries! Meet Angela Sargent, inspired by her sons Isiah and Aaron Angela started A.I.A Inspired Designs in 2007 and has been creating ever since. Her hand-knit scarves, hats and cell phone holders make the perfect gifts for this holiday season. In addition to her hand-knit accessories, Angela will be selling inspirational wall art, original greeting cards, aromatherapy sachets at this year’s marketplace. Kelemua is Fine Artist from Ethiopia, she began drawing and creating at a young age and decided to transform her gifts into a business. She worked diligently on her craft and attended University of Addis Ababa Fine Arts and Design School, which is the only art school in Ethiopia. Kelemua is very passionate about her work and as a result her pieces are simply breathtaking with a unique style and quality. Make sure you visit Kelemua’s table at this year’s marketplace, she will be selling original artwork, prints, Gourd purses and handmade jewelry. Suzanne Morgan of Native Spirit
Meet Suzanne, a Native American artist that has been making unique jewelry and leather-work for many years. She established Native Spirit in 1991 and since then has be providing high quality, handcrafted jewelry ever since. She developed her technique and passion for leatherwork by a Cheyenne craftswoman in Oklahoma and learned her bead working skills from Indian elders. Native Spirit will be at this year’s marketplace with a wide selection of sterling silver jewelry,bead work, pottery and leather items. Treat yourself or a loved one to one of her stunning pieces this holiday season!
