About the film: A universal, globally relevant tale, this documentary is a deeply cinematic portrait of two mothers on a journey to build peace through prosperity creation. MAMA RWANDA seeks to fill a major storytelling gap between the general public and the phenomenon of women’s entrepreneurship as a solution to global poverty. MAMA RWANDA makes the case that, if women across the globe are empowered to start businesses and participate meaningfully in the economy, the problem of deep poverty will begin to be solved in a sustainable way.
