Metro Accessible We are a short 15 minute walk (0.6 miles) from the King Street Old Town Metro Station on the Yellow or Blue lines. Our office is located on the second floor inside the Aerospace Medical Association building.

Driving Directions & Short-Term Guest Parking From Rt. 1 South in Old Town: As you approach Old Town on Rt. 1 South (also called S. Henry Street) stay in the left lane. After you cross Duke Street (also called Rt. 236), you’ll see a complex of brick buildings on your left. Before you reach the split in the road, there is a small parking area for short-term guest parking. The entrance to our building faces S. Henry Street and is accessible from the ramp. Our office is located on the second floor inside the Aerospace Medical Association building. From Rt. 1 North in Old Town: As you approach Old Town on Rt. 1 North (also called S. Patrick Street) stay in the left lane. Turn left on Duke Street and stay in the left lane. Wait for the left turn signal onto Rt. 1 South (also called S. Patrick Street), staying in the left lane. You’ll see a complex of brick buildings on your left. Before you reach the split in the road, there is a small parking area for short-term guest parking. The entrance to our building faces S. Henry Street and is accessible from the ramp. Our office is located on the second floor inside the Aerospace Medical Association building.

Visitor Parking in the Underground Garage If there is no more space in the short-term guest parking, or if you are visiting longer, you must use the underground garage and park in visitor parking. It’s free. The entrance to the parking garage is on S. Patrick Street. From Rt. 1 South in Old Town: Following the directions above, stay in the left lane on Rt. 1 South (also called S. Henry Street). After you cross Duke Street, make a left at the split on the road going on Rt. 1 North (also called S. Patrick Street). The entrance to the underground parking garage will be immediately on your left. Follow the signs for visitor parking. From Rt. 1 North in Old Town: Following the directions above, stay in the left lane on Rt. 1 North (also called S. Patrick Street) as you approach Old Town and Rt. 1 narrows. You’ll see a complex of brick buildings on your left, before Duke Street. The entrance to the underground parking garage will be immediately on your left. Follow the signs for visitor parking.

Metro Accessible We are a short 14 minute walk from the Twinbrook metro station on the red line. Our office is located on the second floor of the JCA (Jewish Council for the Aging) building.

Walking Directions After swiping out of the gates (before leaving the metro station) there will be two exits, one on the left and one on the right. Take the left exit out of the station. Once outside, turn right and follow the sidewalk up to the intersection of Parklawn Drive and Twinbrook Parkway. Go straight through the intersection onto Parklawn Drive. Continue down Parklawn Drive for 0.4 miles. As you are walking you will pass a large parking lot on the right, then you will notice a Latin Cuisine restaurant on the left. Parklawn Drive will veer towards the right and continue up a hill. Go past the storage units on the left. At the top of the hill, you will notice a light brown brick building to the left. There will be a white sign in front that says “JCA Jewish Council For the Aging” Walk into the front door and sign in as a guest of Empowered Women International at the front desk. Our office is located on the second floor.

Bus Directions After exiting off the train take either the bus C4,J5 or 10 that runs along the Parklawn Dr. Get on at Twinbrook Station & Bus Bay A. Pass the first stop: Parklawn Dr. & Wicomico Ave. Pass the second stop: Parklawn Dr. & Washington Ave. Pass the third stop: Parklawn Dr. & Washington Ave. Get off at the fourth stop: Parklawn Dr. & Wilkens Ave. After getting off the bus, look for the White sign that says “JCA Jewish Council for the Aging.” Behind the sign will be a light brown brick building. It will be a one minute walk from the bus stop and the JCA building will be on your right. Walk in through the front door and sign in as a guest of Empowered Women International at the front desk. Our office is located on the second floor.

Driving Directions

VIA I-495 N: Take I-495N/I-95 N toward Baltimore/College Park. Take Exit 34 for Maryland 355 toward Rockville/Bethesda/Wisconsin Ave. Merge onto Rockville Pike. In 2.9 miles turn right onto Twinbrook Parkway. After 0.4 miles turn right onto Parklawn Drive. In 0.4 miles the destination will be on your right. Look for the white sign that says “JCA Jewish Council for the Aging” on it. Behind it will be a light brown brick building. Pull all the way in, the parking lot is behind the building. After entering through the front door, sign in as a visitor of Empowered Women International at the front desk. The office is located on the second floor.

VIA MD 295 N: Merge onto MD 295 N, follow for 5.5 miles. Take I-495N/I-95 N toward Baltimore/College Park. Take exit 29 for MD-193 University Boulevard toward Wheaton/Langley Park. Turn right onto MD-193 W/University Blvd E (signs for Wheaton/US-29 N). Follow for 3.6 miles. Turn right onto Veirs Mill Road. Continue for 1.8 miles. Turn left onto Randolph Road and continue for 1.4 miles. Turn right onto Parklawn Drive. The destination will be on the right after 0.5 miles. Look for a white sign that says “JCA Jewish Council For the Aging” and a light brown brick building behind it. The parking lot is behind the building. Sign in at the front desk as a visitor of Empowered Women International. Our office is located on the second floor.

Driving Directions

Coming from Alexandria, VA

1. Take the I-495 W/Capital Beltway W toward Richmond toward Tysons Corner Center.

2. Merge onto VA-267 W/Dulles Toll Rd via Exit 45 on the left toward Dulles Airport.

3. Merge onto VA-228 via Exit 10 toward Herndon, make a right at the traffic light, shortly after you will see Alabama Dr make a right at the light again, and you will see a greenish building , which is 1141 Elden Street next to Silver Diner and other local businesses.

Coming from I-66 W (Crossing into VA) –

1. Take Lee Hwy/US-29 exit, EXIT 73, toward Rosslyn /Key Br, merge onto Lee Hwy.

2. Merge onto I-66 W/Custis Memorial Pkwy W, notice that HOV restrictions are Mon-Frid 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM.

3. Merge onto VA-267 W/Dulles Access Rd W via Exit 67 toward Dulles Airport/I-495 N/Baltimore.

4. Keep right to take VA-267 W/Dulles Toll Rd toward I-495, (Portions toll). Merge onto VA-228 via Exit 10 toward Herndon, make a right at the traffic light, shortly after you will see Alabama Dr. Make a right at the light again, and you will see a greenish building, which is 1141 Elden Street next to Amphora Diner and other local businesses.

The building is actually located behind the 7-11 and Shell station, next to Amphora’s Diner. Google Maps shows this pretty well. If you go around the building you will find the parking garage. Our office is located on the second floor, Suite 200.

Metro Accessible (Metrorail + Bus)

The recently opened Silver Metro Line – Wiehle-Reston East Station, is 20 minutes away from our office. Take the Fairfax Connector, Route 926 from the station, which will drop you to Elden Street.
