Padma Prasad’s Art at GMU Festival for the Arts

Posted on: March 12th, 2009 by Steve No Comments

boyandbirdArtist Padma Prasad returns from a trip to her homeland India, and reports success during a busy summer. “First, thanks to your email, I was able to participate in Artomatic. The committee liked my work enough to include it in their press release. Second, I took part in the George Mason Festival of the Arts. This was a tie-up with the Fairfax Art League. The project was to combine performing arts and the visual media, so we had to paint scenes inspired by the play “Mariela in the Desert” which was performed during the GMU Festival of the Arts. The two paintings I made for this are “The Bent Woman” and “Boy and Bird”. “
