EWI is delighted to welcome new interns as well as staff that have transitioned into new and exciting roles on the EWI team. This fall we have four interns joining us from diverse backgrounds with a shared vision and commitment to women’s empowerment. It is great to have new additions to the team to help continue to carry out EWI’s vision!
Abby Tremain is our Events and Operations Intern. With a passion for empowerment and cultural education, Abby brings great experience and skill to this role. Abby has been working very hard to ensure that everything from events to programs are planned and executed efficiently.
Rashida Moore is our Program Associate Intern in Alexandria. Rashida is dedicated to serving her local community as well as recognizing her role in the global community as well. Rashida’s positive spirit has already filled our office and she is devoted to her valuable role of assisting with the overall success of our programs as well as working with our EWI students as they go through their training processes.
Brianna Pippens is our Marketing and Communications Intern.She is committed to social justice and cultural competency. Brianna has been assisting with EWI’s social media presence as well as writing stories providing coverage of EWI events, and new developments with our entrepreneurs.
Emma Kaufman is our Development Associate Intern. Emma is devoted to helping advance the empowerment of women, especially those facing socioeconomic obstacles. Emma is excited to begin the her journey with EWI and assist with the organization’s growth and development.
In addition, we would like to congratulate Kim Booher, Lauren Spengler, and Alexandra Boycheck, three amazing young women as they take on their new roles in the EWI team. They are all passionate about social justice and women’s equality and this is evident in their hard work and dedication to the success of EWI. Within the past year, Kim, Lauren, and Alexandra have all transitioned from volunteers and interns into staff capacities bringing a wealth of knowledge and skills that will continue the progression and growth of EWI.
