  • Have a ready to market product or service, or a clearly defined business idea

Low-Income Eligibility Requirements:

The training fee ($1,850/student) is covered through private contributions. Because of this, EWI will offer scholarships to eligible low-income women to attend the Entrepreneur Training for Success.

Selected women in the program will be responsible to pay registration and course workbook fee of $95.

To be eligible to apply for this program, women must have income at or below these levels:

Household Size Total Household Income Cannot Exceed
1 Person  $32,000
2 Persons  $40,000
3 Persons  $48,000
4 Persons  $56,000

Add $8,000 for each additional person.

If you do not meet the low-income eligibility requirements, but feel that ETS will benefit you, please apply and we will evaluate your need and consider you for a merit based scholarship.

Payment and Service Requirements:

  • Registration and course workbook/materials fee:  $95 must be paid prior to the first class.
  • In lieu of the scholarship, we require each student accepted into the program to give back  20 hours service after graduation. (Type of service include but is not limited to: mentoring other women, teaching or showcasing art, products or services through EWI, participating as an ETS graduate speaker)
