March 26, 2009 – Journalist John Arundel, Managing Editor of the Local Kicks and Founding Editor of Alexandria Times highlights immigrant women’s art and EWI’s entrepreneurial work in the community. In a time of financial crisis, Fripp said that organizations like EWI transform challenges into opportunities, and spur economic growth and jobs creation by tapping into the extraordinary talent and entrepreneurial spirit of the artists’ community.
